What are the PDO Threads?

They are made from a strong synthetic monofilament fibre which dissolves in the tissue after a certain time, depending on the thread type, I’m using PLLA thread which last around 12 months.

How does it work?

Threads are inserted to the dermis our body acts as ‘foreign body reaction’ this is the exact reaction what we want collagen builds up around the thread and creates a lifting effect. This is caused by triggering the body to produce fibroblast to create more collagen in the target areas.
